Dave Haney
Keyboard, Guitar,Vocals

A native of Pennsylvania, Dave Haney began his musical career playing accordion at the age of
7. Upon reaching his teenage years, he discovered that girls really went crazy over guys who
played guitar – but not so much for accordionists, so he took up the guitar.

Dave dropped out of college for a few years to join a Ft. Lauderdale, Florida rock band called
“Nobody’s Children”. Next, playing bass, he joined a Key West band that eventually decided to
relocate back to their native Chicago. Dave went along and the group reformed into
“The Sound of Soul”.

As Bassist/keyboardist, he joined the traveling show band, “Mickey Finn and the Knockouts”.
After several years on the road and playing in clubs all over the Midwest, Dave and his wife
Judy settled down again in Pennsylvania, where he played keyboards for many years with a
popular party/wedding/resort band, “Adrian, Priest and Grimes”, working in many well-known
Pocono Resorts including Caesar's Paradise Stream, Brookdale, and Pocono Palace (all the
while teaching elementary school).

After the members of that band went their separate ways, he did a guitar single at several
different family resorts in the area for several years.

In late 2004, the Haney's became permanent Florida residents, and Dave began looking for a
band needing a new member.

In 2005 to mid-2008, he spent some time playing bass for “Gypsy Star” and then  joined “Lenny and the Jets” in 2006 as keyboardist. He is now enjoys playing keyboards and guitar for "The Sundance Band ."
